Official Bio

Erinda Martin is a certified and registered Yoga Teacher (500-RYT®) based in Austin Texas USA. At times she travels around the country and worldwide. She also facilitates Meditation, Mindfulness, Soundbaths and Women Circles.

Erinda first discovered Yoga in her late teens during a time of personal struggle and darkness. The sacred approach to Yoga through meditation, breathwork and philosophy brought her deep inner-healing, well-being and vitality, helping her find her own path from darkness to light. After 10 years of exploring various styles of Yoga and other wellness modalities, she followed her heart to further learn about the benefits of Yoga, not just as a lifetime student, but also as a teacher so she could share it with the world. After her formal education at the University of Montana earning a double bachelor’s degree in International Business and Management with focus in Non Profit Administration, Erinda practiced her corporate career for the rest of her twenties. She decided to change her life’s direction and fully commit to her own well-being and facilitating it for others full time by committing to her path as a Yoga teacher.

Erinda earned her 200-hours RYT® certification through Happy-U Yoga Center RYS® in Hatha Yoga style with focus in Positive Psychology. After teaching for some time and traveling the world visiting ancient spiritual sites, Erinda felt thirsty to learn more about the ancient roots of Yoga. She followed her heart this time to the birthplace of Yoga in the foothills of the Himalayas in northern India where she studied and practiced with lifetime Yogis. While exploring the country and living there for three months she earned her 300-hours RYT® certification through Rishikesh Yogpeeth RYS® in Hatha and Ashtanga Yoga styles.

While continuing to teach Yoga and Meditation full-time, Erinda trained in Costa Rica and got certified by Trilogy Sanctuary to teach Aerial Yoga. Aerial arts have been an alternative modality that have helped her find joy and play in the inner-healing and growth process. Her continuing education includes a variety of subjects and modalities, such as Reiki, Mindfulness Facilitation training by Shawn Kent with Sanctuary Yoga, Chakras training with Nischala Joy Devi at the Soul of Yoga Institute, and Business of Yoga bootcamp presented by the Yoga Journal. Erinda is also trained in women circles facilitation and authentic relating through the Inner Beauty Collective. She facilitates healing circles, special ceremonies, events and workshops, in person and online.

Erinda’s personal mission statement in life includes her dedication to bringing Yoga to those who need guidance the most towards well-being and have access to it the least. She is contributing in her own unique way in creating a new paradigm where Yoga and Meditation are essential aspects of everyone’s daily life by sharing her light with the world daily, on and off the Yoga mat.
